Benni Jørgensen

Benni Jørgensen (*1955) started making pipes in 1980 and in the beginning he got a lot of help from another famous Danish pipemaker, Teddy Knudsen. For more than 20 years, Benni was making the top quality pipes for W. Ø. Larsen’s in Copenhagen, until that shop was closed in 2005. Since then Benni has been an independent pipemaker making about 200 pipes a year in his workshop, situated in the southern part of Zealand. His skill was passed on to his son, Lasse Skovgaard, who is also a highly talented pipemaker.
