Jørn Micke

In his youth Jørn Micke (1937 – 2005) studied to become a doctor, but two things made him change his plans – he fell in love with the isle of Bornholm and he met Sixten Ivarsson. He and Sixten became friends and Micke started to work as an apprentice in Sixten’s workshop. After one year of learning he in 1963 moved to Bornholm, where he was to stay for the rest of his life. Micke’s production was very limited and most of his pipes were sold directly to personal customers.
