A young Björn Bengtsson (*1947) was taught pipe-making by Poul Rasmussen in Copenhagen. When Poul died in 1967 Björn was working for Poul’s widow, Anne Julie, for a few years, until he in 1974 went back to Sweden to start on his own. In the beginning of the 90s there was a general decrease in demand for high-grade pipes and Björn decided to take another job. The production since then has been very limited.
