Teddy Knudsen

As a young man Teddy Knudsen (*1947) started making pipes during his military service. He used his brother Sven’s workshop (Sven died in 2010) and having finished his service he helped his brother to make the Dantonian pipes. After that he worked with Anne Julie for a few years and then for W. Ø. Larsen’s. Today Teddy has two workshops, one in Århus in Denmark and one in Italy, the latter situated in a district where some of the best briar in the world can be found. His production is very limited, only about 30 pipes a year.
